On February 11th, 2020 Parker, the local snow dog, was voted the Honorary Mayor of Georgetown Colorado by the town Board of Selectmen. In a grand ceremony, Parker was seen wearing a tie and glasses as a full house on 18th February, 2020. As per the official facebook update, Parker is the mascot for Loveland Ski Area, Camp Therapy Dog for the Rocky Mountain Village Easterseals Colorado and also is featured on most Denver Broncos nationally televised games.

Parker has promised to bring a lot of hugs, love, and cookies to the people of Georgetown.
